The Static Caravan accommodation in New Mills is on our traditional working family farm. New Mills is in the High Peak, north Derbyshire which is on the western edge of the Peak District National Park.

We are in a perfect location for exploring the hills, caverns, towns and dales of the Peak District and Derbyshire which hosts many activities in rolling countryside perfect for walking, cycling or sight seeing.
The highest Peak, Kinder Scout is only 3 miles from Shaw Farm. Site of the famous mass trespass it offers excellent hill walking and stunning views over Derbyshire and Cheshire towards Manchester.
Manchester, only a half hour train journey away offers a wide range of activities including shopping, museums, art galleries, many large cinemas and a countless number of restaurants and nightlife to suit all tastes. The city now has an exciting modern and vibrant feel and is well worth a visit.
Set in open countryside on the edge of the Peak District National Park, hidden away from the local town and neighbours each static caravan has extensive views over fields and hills towards the Cheshire plains over which there are spectacular sunsets. Unlike many static caravan parks we have tried to ensure our accommodation is well spaced and not overlooked
We welcome children to our farm and provide a sandpit and swings for their enjoyment. We invite you to watch the cows being milked and see the baby calves at close quarters. We also have a horse called Lottie who loves carrots!
A five minute walk from our Static Caravan accommodation through a wooded valley leads you to our local and traditional pub The Fox Inn, at Brook Bottom which serves hot food.
A ten minute walk to the top of the farm offers stunning views over the Peak District to the East, Cheshire plains and Manchester to the West. On the top of the farm there is also a Bronze Age Burial Cairn which was excavated in 2008 and a very significant Bronze Age Amber Necklace was discovered.
